Former Boulder High School football coach Emerson Wilson passed away last fall. His impact on many players and coaches was far-reaching. Emerson was living in Kansas City at the time of his death. Emerson coached Boulder High School to the State Championship in 1963 and coached for 14 years at Boulder, retiring in 1974. His record at Boulder was 86-39-6.
A celebration of Emerson Wilson’s life will be held at the East Boulder Recreation Center in Boulder on Sunday, March 27 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Emerson’s son, Mike, is the athletic director at Jefferson Academy High School.
